Amboasary Sud

Amboasary Sud is a rural town on the south coast of Madagascar. It belongs to the district Amboasary and is located in the region Anosy.

Geography

The village is located on the National Road 13, which crosses the river Mandrare here. After Ambovombe is 35 km and Fort -Dauphin is located at a distance of 75 km.

Economy

The town's economy is dominated by sisal plantations, achieve through which around 10,000 people in the fields and factories in 3 of their income. About 3 /4 of the areas of the municipality are hereby planted and is mainly exported to Europe.
