Amenhotep-Huy

Amenhotep, also called Huy [A 1], was the northern vizier under King (Pharaoh) Amenhotep III. in ancient Egyptian 18th Dynasty ( New Kingdom ). He officiated about the same time Ramose.

Not much is known about his person. His grave was discovered in 1978 in al - Asasif in Western Thebes. Otherwise, he is known by two statues of the Nile Delta, Krug inscriptions from Malkata who call the Sed festival and he appears together with the vizier Ramose in the temple of Soleb. Classification as a northern vizier has already been disputed in research and it has been suggested that Ramose officiated in the north and in the south of Amenhotep.
