American Life League

The American Life League ( ALL) is a conservative Christian anti- abortion organization in the United States. It stands in opposition to birth control, stem cell research and euthanasia. Although it bills itself as a Catholic organization, it is not an official organization of the Catholic Church. President and co-founder of the organization, founded in 1979 is Judie Brown. The headquarters of the organization is located in Stafford, Virginia.

The organization belongs to the "no exception" ( no exception ) bearing the anti - family planning movement. Abortions should therefore be allowed neither danger to the life of the pregnant woman, even for rape or incest. The same applies to all forms of birth control. It is close to many positions of the evangelical right.

Because of their extreme positions and their propaganda methods, the organization of other Catholic organizations and even from other anti - abortion organizations is criticized. So Catholics United and Catholics criticized in Alliance for the Common Good at the opposition supported by ALL demonstrations right organizations against health care reform in the United States the use of the slogan " Bury Obamacare with Kennedy " ( the long-time Senator, practicing Catholics and vehement supporters of health reform Edward Kennedy died ) and the spreading of disinformation just before treatment of health care reform in the U.S. Congress as an embarrassment for the Catholic community

Associated organizations or sub-organizations of ALL are in addition to a network of local anti - family planning organizations Rock for Life, STOP, Crusade for the Defense of Our Catholic Church and the American Bioethics Advisory Commission.
