American University
The American University ( AU) is a private, Methodist University in Washington, DC in the United States. Currently, 5,782 undergraduate students ( undergraduate students) and 5,060 master's and Ph. D. students are ( postgraduate students) enrolled ( total of 10,842 students). The university was founded in 1893.
The sports teams of the AU are the Eagles ( Eagles). The university is a member of the Patriot League.
