Americana is the 45th album by Canadian musician Neil Young. It was released on June 5, 2012. The album is the first collaboration of Neil Young with Crazy Horse since the recording of Greendale and the joint tour 2003/2004. The album features reinterpretations of classic American folk songs.
Reception
Country Music News wrote about the album, Neil Young send the old classics virtually in a time machine, although depending on the electric guitar technically something. Through the new arrangement of slightly dusty title from the Great American Songbook they unfolded almost magical sounds.
