Ametek, Inc. is a U.S. public company and manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices with more than 80 seats all over the world.

Ametek was founded in 1930. It consists of two large areas ( Electronic Instruments and Electromechanical ). The main office of the company Ametek is in Paoli, Pennsylvania in the United States.

Under the direction of Frank S. Hermance, Chairman and CEO, the company achieved a turnover of around 2.5 billion dollars in 2008.

2010, the French Cameca, a manufacturer of secondary ion mass spectrometry and microprobe was acquired. 2012 Dunkermotoren was purchased.

Ametek in Germany
