Amik Valley

Amuq is a bottom level in the southernmost part of Turkey and is located east of the ancient Antioch or of today's Antakya. Archaeological significance she attained through various important finds from the period from the Neolithic to Bronze Age on various tells. From 1995 to 2005, the Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago led there by an archaeological survey.
