Amman Governorate
The government Amman (Arabic محافظة العاصمة, DMG Muhafazat al - ʿ Asima, Hauptstadtgouvernement ') is one of the twelve governorates of Jordan. Seat of Gouvernementsverwaltung is Amman.
The province covers an area of 8231 km ² and has a population of 2.027 million (2007).
The government Amman is divided into seven Nahiyas:
