Amy Pieters

Amy Pieters ( born June 21, 1991, Haarlem ) is a Dutch cyclist.

Even as a youth and junior rider Amy Pieters won numerous victories in total, including twelve national titles on the road and railway. Since 2010, it starts in the elite class and professional. In the UCI Track World Championships 2010 in Ballerup she finished with the Dutch team (Vera Koedooder and Ellen van Dijk ) fifth place in the team pursuit and was second in the Dutch championship points race. In 2011 she finished sixth in the overall standings of the International Thüringen Tour. When you first run of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup 2011/2012 in Astana, the Dutch team of three from Pieters, van Dijk and Kirsten Wild won the team pursuit.

Amy Pieters is the daughter of former racing cyclist and cycling coach Peter Pieters, her brother cyclist Roy Pieters.
