Amy Smart

Amy Lysle Smart ( born March 26, 1976 in Topanga, California) is an American actress and a former model.

Life and career

Amy Smart is the daughter of Judy and John Smart and has a brother named Adam. She took ballet lessons for ten years until she began her career as a model in Milan and New York City. Your first television appearance was in 1994 in Smart MTV's Rock the Vote, her first extended role with which she became known, she received 1999 Varsity Blues. She also played in the first two seasons with the U.S. television series Felicity. In the second season of the sitcom Scrubs - she played the recurring supporting role of Jamie Moyer.

Smart's best-known films include the comedies Road Trip and Rat Race - The Rat Race, the thriller The Butterfly Effect, and the drama Bigger Than the Sky. In January 2006, the film was a Best Man in the German cinemas. Also in 2006, played smart in the action film Crank and 2009 in the sequel Crank 2: High Voltage alongside Jason Statham. Smart is committed to the environment. She is spokesperson for the conservation organization Heal the Bay in California, which deals with the conservation of the nature of the coast of California. She is also involved on the board of the Environmental Media Association and the Step Up Women's Network, which advocates for the advancement of women.

Since the September 10, 2011 Smart is married to Carter Oosterhouse.
