Amy Wright

Amy Wright ( born April 15, 1950 in Chicago ) is an American actress.

Life and achievements

Wright studied at Beloit College and worked occasionally as a teacher. She quit and moved to New York City to pursue a career as an actress. There, she made her debut in 1975 at the Sanctuary Theatre and worked with Rip Torn.

Her first film role was played by Wright in the film drama Not a Pretty Picture from the year 1976. In Western drama Heartland (1979 ) she played alongside Rip Torn and Conchata Ferrell one of the major roles. In the comedy Stardust Memories ( 1980) she starred alongside Woody Allen, the same year she starred opposite John Savage, David Morse and Diana Scarwid in a larger role in the film drama Max 's Bar by Richard Donner on.

In the film drama The Accidental Tourist (1988 ) was to see Wright alongside William Hurt, Kathleen Turner, and Geena Davis. In the film comedy The Dyin (1990 ) she played the role of Lurlene who with her siblings Orville ( Beau Bridges), Evalita ( Beverly D' Angelo ) and Sara Lee ( Tess Harper ) fights for inheritance.

Wright is married to Rip Torn and has two daughters.
