Ana Olivera

Ana Olivera ( born December 17, 1953 in Montevideo) is a Uruguayan politician.

Olivera is a member of the Communist Party of Uruguay and represents at the same time, the Frente Amplio. During the presidential Tabaré Vázquez ' it was between 2005 and 2010 Secretary of State in the Ministry of Social Development. In the local elections on May 9, 2010, she was then elected to Intendente the Department of Montevideo.
