Anastasia Prikhodko

Anastasia Kostjantyniwna Prychodko (Ukrainian Анастасія Костянтинівна Приходько, Russian Анастасия Константиновна Приходько / Anastasia Prikhodko Konstantinovna; * April 21, 1987 in Kiev ) is a Ukrainian singer. She sings pop, folk and folk-rock.

Life

Anastasia Prychodko studied folk music - singing and choral conducting at the National University of Fine Arts in Kiev. She plays flute, guitar and piano, and composes her songs partially itself first became famous for her 2007 victory in the seventh season of Фабрика звёзд ( Fabrika swjosd, Star Factory '), a Russian talent show.

She describes herself in many interviews as " patriot of Ukraine" and "true Ukrainian singer ". Not infrequently expressed Anastasia Prychodko nationalist thoughts.

On 16 May 2009 she took part in the Euro Vision Song Contest 2009 for Russia. They came in 11th place with their pop-folk ballad " Mamo " which was composed by her producer and mentor Konstantin Meladze. This song contains verses Russian and a Ukrainian chorus, which is why the contribution was controversial in Russia. It received 91 points and ended thus in midfield, just behind the Armenian post " Jan Jan " by Inga & Anush, who scored at the end of 92 points, but just ahead of her compatriot Svitlana Loboda, the 12th ranked with 76 points for Ukraine.

Actually Prychodko Anastasia tried to return to their home country Ukraine, but was disqualified for breaking a rule. When they shortly took part in the Russian qualifying round, she was able to prevail against 15 competitors. In 2011 she again took part in the advance Scheid Ukraine, came up with the title " Action " but only in 8th place among 19 participants in the final on February 26. The video for the song was released shortly afterwards.

She brought on 4 April 2010, a daughter.
