Anastrophe

Under a Anastrophe (modern art word for a reversal, from the Greek ana = ἀνά up and στρέφειν stréphein = contact ) is understood in the rhetoric of a rhetorical figure. Characteristic of the Anastrophe is the deviation from the usual grammatical word order: two linguistically belong together words are changed, such as after and afterwards.
