Anatole Milandou

Anatole Milandou ( born March 18, 1946 in Nsamouna, Republic of Congo) is Archbishop of Brazzaville.

Life

Anatole Milandou received on 23 June 1973 the Archbishop of Brazzaville, Emile Cardinal Biayenda, the sacrament of Holy Orders and was incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of Brazzaville.

On July 22, 1983, Pope John Paul II appointed Titular Bishop of Capra and appointed him auxiliary bishop in Brazzaville. The Archbishop of Marseille, Cardinal Roger Etchegaray, donated to him on 28 August of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Archbishop of Brazzaville, Barthélémy Batantu, and the Bishop of Owando, Georges -Firmin Singha. On October 3, 1987, John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Kinkala. The appointment as Archbishop of Brazzaville on 23 January 2001.
