Ancient (band)
Ancient (English, old ') is a black metal band that was founded in Norway, but is now being continued from Italy.
History
The band was founded in 1992 in Bergen as a solo project of Aphazel, but they been converted into a regular band. Together with the singer and drummer Grimm, he took Eerily Howling Winds Demo 1993 and the following year the EP Det Glemte Riket on. This was re-released on the split album True Kings of Norway, among others, in 2000, together with the also out of print EPs the band Emperor, Immortal, Dimmu Borgir and Arcturus.
