Ancient Diocese of the Faroe Islands

Since the Christianization of the Faroe Islands to 1000, the islands were under the Archbishop of Bremen. At the latest in 1100 the diocese was established Faroe Islands. From 1104 it was suffragan of Lund and from 1152 of Nidaros (Trondheim ).
