Anconeus muscle

The Musculus ancon ( a) eus (Latin for " elbow bump muscle " or " elbow muscle ") is a skeletal muscle in the forearm and the extensor of the elbow joint. It is a small, roughly triangular muscle, which is partially covered by the triceps brachii, located at the back of the elbow joint. A further function of the muscle is located in a pronation a modified scan axis ( in extension of the index finger ), for example when in or out of a screw. He also stretches the joint capsule of the elbow joint and prevents them stuck during the stretching in the olecranon fossa.
