Andalién River

The Río Andalíen is a river in Chile in the region VIII Región del Bío -Bío. It flows through the metropolitan area of Gran Concepción, is 130 km long and drains a catchment area of 780 km ².
It arises from the confluence of the streams ( esteros ) Ponen and Curapalihue and then flows to the west of the city of Concepción. After it has passed through the northern parts of the city, he turns north and flows into at Penco in the southeastern corner of the Bay of Concepción. He is in parts the boundary between rural parts of the municipalities Penco and Talcahuano.
