Andalusian Party

The Partido Andalucista is a Spanish party, which was founded in 1976. She is a left-wing regional party which is active in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.

History

The party was created in 1976 when the company established in 1971 Alianza Socialista de Andalucía changed its name to Partido Socialista de Andalucía ( PSA). In January 1979, she took the name Partido Socialista de Andalucía - Poder Andaluz (PSA -PA) and in February 1984 the present name Partido Andalucista.

In 1979, the PSA -PA with 325,000 votes (1.81 %) 5 seats in the Congreso de los Deputies. 1982 and 1986 she missed with 0.4 % and 0.47 % of the vote the feeder. In 1989, she obtained 1.04% of the vote ( 2 seats), 1993 and 1996, it remained without MPs (0.41 % and 0.54 %). After 2000, she presented a deputy (0.89 %), did not make the re-entry in 2004 but (0.70 %). In 2008, she joined with other regional parties as Coalition Andalucista, but only got 0.27 % of votes. In the 2011 elections it received 0.32 %.

At the regional level, the PA reached 2.7 to 10.8 %. From 1996 to 2004, she formed a coalition with the PSOE, under the leadership of Manuel Chaves. At the regional and local elections in Spain in 2011 she competed in 282 municipalities for election and gained 470 seats in 177 municipalities. In the previous election in 2007, there were 525 MPs in 201 of 366 constituencies be beaten.

At European level, the Partido Andalucista like other Spanish regional parties also member of the European Free Alliance.

Ideology

The party describes itself as its ideology nacional ista, ista federal, y Progresista ( nationalistic, federal, progressive). The primary objective is to strengthen the autonomy of Andalusia.

Youth organization of the party are the Juventudes Andalucistas.
