Anders Johan von Höpken
Anders Johan von Höpken ( born March 31, 1712 Stockholm, † May 9, 1789 ) was a Swedish politician, Imperial Council and co-founder of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. He stood in front of the State Chancellery ( Kunglig Majesty kansli ) 1752-1761 as president and was 1746-1761 as well as 1773 and 1780 Imperial Council. In domestic policy, of Höpken a follower of the hat- Arne.
He studied from 1728 to 1730 at the University of Uppsala. Then worked from Höpken 1730-1732 as attaché at the Swedish embassy in London and then went on a study trip through Holland, France, Italy and Germany.
He was a Swedish six founding members of the Royal Academy of Sciences in 1739.
He was married to Ulrika Eleonora Sparre (1724-1747), a subsidiary of the Swedish Admiral and Count Claes Sparre.
