Anders Lund

Anders Lund (born 14 February 1985 in Hellerup ) is a Danish cyclist. His strengths lie mainly in the mountains and on short climbs. He is 1.78 meters tall, his racing weight is 64 kilograms.

Career

Lund began his cycling career at the Danish Ordrup Cykle Club. In 2004 he moved to Team PH, where he met anchor Sørensen on his current team mate Chris. Anders Lund in 2003 Danish Junior Champion in the road race. At the World Championships in Hamilton he won the silver medal behind then the Dutchman Kai Reus. Starting next year, he drove for the team PH. He chose two stages of the Circuit des Ardennes for himself, and changed according to the season to the Danish Continental team GLS. In 2005, he was there again to celebrate a stage win at the Circuit des Ardennes and was second at the European Championships and at the U- 23 edition of Liège -Bastogne -Liège.

2007 Lund signed his first professional contract with Team CSC (later renamed Team Saxo Bank ). After a trip to Leopard Trek 2011, he returned for the 2012 season back to Team Saxo Bank.

Lund's entry into the 2012 season was the Tour Down Under in Australia. At the World Tour race, the Dane was primarily as a helper for his team captains Luke Roberts, Sergio Paulinho and Jonathan Cantwell in action. Lund itself was ranked 115 in the final overall standings.

End of the 2013 season he will end his career as a professional cyclist.
