Andorra national under-21 football team

The Andorran U-21 national football team is a selection of Andorran football player. It is subject to Federació Andorrana de Futbol and represents him on the U-21 level, in friendly matches against the national teams of other national associations, but also at the European Championships of the continental federation UEFA. Be eligible, players who have not yet completed their 21 years of age and possess the Andorran nationality. In tournaments, the age at first qualifier is relevant.

History

Although the A-team of Andorra regularly competes in official international matches since 1996, Andorra led for the first time in 2006, a U-21 national team. This denied so far only two official matches. In the pre-qualification for the U -21 Football Championship 2007, however, the small state failed in home-and -away Iceland. In the first matches of U21 Andorra ever succeeded after all, on May 3, 2006, a 0-0, but on 1 June 2006 you had to then admit defeat in Iceland 0-2. It was the first and only defeat in a competitive match for the U21 Andorra. For the U-21 European Football Championships 2009 Andorra has not even begun.
