Andra Vida is a small town in the Peloponnese in the Greek region Western Greece. It is located about 63 km southwest of Patras and 33 km north- west of Pyrgos. To the east of the city lies a military base. In the northeast extend to the hills east of Tragano forests. In the northwest, the level Andravidaiko is. To the south extends a plane. The distance to the sea is 7 km.
Andra Vida in 1912 recognized as a rural community ( kinotita ) and raised in 1948 to the city municipality ( dimos ). With the administrative reform in 2010, it was merged with three other municipalities of the newly created municipality Kyllini, where it has since formed a district.
History
Andra Vida ( in Frankish times André Ville) was from 1295 to 1460 the capital of the Frankish Principality of Achaea, then the city came to the Greek independence of the Ottoman Empire. In the Frankish period the city became the seat of the Bishop of Olena.
Buildings
Andravida owned several buildings from Frankish times, including once to a Dominican monastery belonging Ayasofya (Hagia Sophia ), the rib- vaulted east choir is preservation, a St. Stephen's Church ( Franciscans ) and the St. Jacob church dedicated ( Templar ), which have not survived.

Economy, Infrastructure and Transportation
