André Bormanis

André Bormanis ( born February 13, 1959 in Chicago) is an American television producer, screenwriter and author of the book published in 1998 Star Trek: Science Logs, which was primarily known for his work on the Star Trek series. In Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise, he worked as a scientific advisor for several episodes of Voyager and Enterprise, he also wrote the screenplay.

He was also an author of the short-lived science fiction series Nemesis - The attack involved and worked as a producer and writer for The Mystery and Crime Series Eleventh Hour - use the last second. Both series were produced by CBS.

Bormanis grew up in Arizona and was interested in early astronomy. He first earned a degree in physics and mathematics at the University of Arizona, where he graduated in 1981 as Bachelor. Then he studied at George Washington University where he acquired the 1994 master's degrees. He is a member of the Planetary Society.
