Andrea Keszler

Andrea Keszler ( born July 28, 1989 in Tatabánya ) is a Hungarian Shorttrackerin.

It occurs since the year 2003 in international youth competitions, a year before she was admitted to the Hungarian National Team. Their first international championship in the adult area was the 2007 European Championship in Sheffield. There she achieved as a member of the Hungarian Season the finals, where this was, however, disqualified. In the same year Keszler denied the Team World Championship in Budapest and reached there with their teammates sixth. The following year, Keszler reached at the European Championships in Ventspils with the relay again the finals through injury but not joined the quartet in there and eventually became fifth.

In the 2008 /09 season Keszler debuted in the World Cup. Your best results in individual races were several quarter-final appearances. At the European Championships 2009 in Turin, she won the relay gold medal and thus their first international title. In the 2009/10 season Keszler started at two World Cup races, but without achieving top rankings. At the European Championships in Dresden, she was with the squadron again Fourth, at the World Team Championships in Bormio they reached fifth place. Keszler qualified for the Olympic Games in Vancouver. It started with the season, which won fifth place. In the season 2011/12 Keszler also reached successes in individual races for the first time. At the European Championship in Mlada Boleslav, she won the bronze medal over 500 m. In multiplayer battle, they finished seventh. In addition, they could fight for the bronze medal with the relay.
