Andrea Weiermann-Lietz

Andrea Lietz Sybille - Weier (b. December 15, 1958 in Cologne) is a German former hockey player and Olympian.

Lietz - Weiermannshaus won with RTHC Bayer Leverkusen in 1981 and 1982, the German championship in indoor hockey and 1982 and 1983, the championship in field hockey.

The Vorstopperin debuted in 1980 in the German national hockey team. After their first international match was followed by three year break before returning brought national coach Wolfgang Strödter in the national team. In May 1984, the first field hockey championship of the ladies was held in Lille, after a semi-final defeat against the Netherlands team won the German players in the match for bronze against the British women. Two months later, the Dutch women defeated the German team at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 6:2, the German team won silver behind the Netherlands team and before the U.S. women.
