Andreas Dober ( born March 31, 1986 in Vienna) is an Austrian football player at the position of the defender.

Career

Earlier in his career played Andreas Dober the subprime SC Rheindorf Altach and in the amateur team of SK Rapid Wien. From there, he made ​​the jump to the first team of Rapid in 2004. His biggest successes celebrated the defender at Rapid with twice winning the Austrian Championship in season 2004/ 05 & 2007/ 08 and moving into the main round of the UEFA Champions League 2005/06. In the Champions League qualification in the return match against Lokomotiv Moscow he returned from one of the best games, and so had a substantial amount of Rapids rise in Europe's elite.

In 2007, he trained with for a week at the German second division side FC Erzgebirge Aue, but opted to stay at Rapid. In 2008 he won the Hütteldorfern the Austrian Championship title.

His international debut was Andreas Dober in the Austrian national team against England on 8 October 2005. He belonged to the extended squad by Austria for the 2008 European Championship on home soil, but was painted by Josef Hickersberger just before the EM from the squad.

His expiring contract was not renewed after the season 2010/11 on the part of the association. Only in the fall of 2011 he was with the TSV Hartberg a new club. Doberman signed 10 October 2011 a contract until summer 2012. His first game for TSV Hartberg denied Andreas Dober on 14 October 2011 in the second-highest playing level against LASK Linz. The game ended with a 0-2 home defeat for Hartberg.

After he played in the First Vienna FC 1894 in the First League, the second highest Austrian league, he was vertragslos from July 2013. On September 19, 2013 Doberman was taken from SKN St. Pölten under contract.
