Andreas Schönbächler

Andreas Schonbachler ( born April 24, 1966 in train ) is a retired Swiss ski jumper and Olympic champion freestyle.

In Albertville at the 1992 Winter Olympic Games Freestyle skiing was an Olympic sport for the first time. The discipline of jumping but was carried out for the second time as a demonstration event. Schonbachler participated in this competition and was 15 and thus second last.

As was jumping in 1994 at the Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer first included as an Olympic discipline, he won the gold medal in jumping. In the squares of two to seven followed exclusively North American.
