Andreas Thiel ( born March 3, 1960 in Lünen ) is a former German handball goalkeeper.

Thiel was active at Alemannia Aachen (1974-1977), TV high village (1977-1979), VfL Gummersbach (1979-1991), TSV Bayer Dormagen (1991-2000) and the SG Flensburg- Handewitt ( 2001). He played 528 games for Gummersbach, Dormagen and Flensburg in the Handball - Bundesliga.
