Andrew Barisić

Andrew Barisic ( born March 22, 1986 in Canberra, Croatian spelling: Andrew Barisić ) is an Australian football player of Croatian descent.

Career

Barisic began after visiting the ACT Academy of Sport in Canberra his career at senior level in Canberra Deakin. After some time at the Melbourne Knights in the Victorian Premier League, he went to Germany in 2006 and played one season for the Oberliga SV Arminia Hannover. A short trip to the Croatian second division side NK Solin And he made after the season, prior to signing on in September 2007 at SV Schermbeck, he received a work permit, which is required for permission to play in the big leagues. His contract with Schermbeck was therefore dissolved in November after only a short use again and Barisic returned to Australia.

There, he scored for the Melbourne Knights in the season 2008 19 hits in 26 missions, a Knights player the best goal tally since Mark Vidukas 21 goals in the season 1994/95, and thus played a major role from reaching the championship finals. In the final, the team defeated 0-1 after extra time Altona Magic. In summer 2009, Barisic joined the A- League team Gold Coast United, where he was employed in the following two seasons, but only in 17 league games.

Then Barisic left the club in early 2011 and moved to Indonesian first division Persebaya 1927., Where he scored ten goals in 14 games, the new coach Divadlo Alves but he was no longer considered. In 2012, he left after one and a half years back the club and moved on to league rivals Arema Malang.
