Andrew Corporation

The Andrew Corporation is an international group of telecommunications equipment industry, headquartered in Westchester, Illinois, USA. Andrew was founded in 1937 by Dr. Victor J. "Doc" Andrew. The Group had in the year 2006 11.000 employees. The fiscal year ends on the calendar year. Andrew is claims to be the world leader in its segment.

Business development

Andrew the company was founded as a manufacturer of high -frequency cables and antennas. The development of new business areas, in particular in sectors active high-frequency equipment ( amplifier, base station subsystems, etc.) began later. In the course of extensive acquisitions, restructurings and divestitures of various companies subregions approximately from the year 2000 we achieved a significant broadening of the product and service portfolio.
