Andrew Feldman, Baron Feldman of Elstree

Andrew Simon Feldman, Baron Feldman of Elstree (* February 25, 1966 in London) is a British politician of the Conservative Party and Deputy Leader of the Party since 2012. Feldman was appointed in 2010 as Baron Feldman of Elstree for Life Peer. He was member of the management of the Conservatives in 2005 and worked for the election campaign of David Cameron's Board candidacy.

Feldman studied at Brasenose College, Oxford University and received his law degree with honors. During his studies he played in the tennis team of the college, where he met David Cameron and Guy Spier. He then went to the Inns of Court School of Law.

In 1999, he married Gabrielle Gourgey; they have two sons and a daughter.

Career

Feldman worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company before he was admitted to the bar in 1991 and worked as a business lawyer at the Court of Essex. From 1995 he was Managing Director of Jayroma ( London) Ltd..

In 2008 he was general secretary of the Conservative Party and he was on 11 May 2010 together with Sayeeda Warsi, Baroness Warsi Chairman.

On 17 December 2010, Feldmann was raised as Baron Feldman of Elstree for Life Peer. Since the 20th December, he sits for the Conservatives in the House of Lords.
