Andrew Graham (astronomer)

Andrew Graham ( born April 8, 1815 County Fermanagh, † November 5, 1908 ) was an Irish astronomer.

He discovered on April 25, 1848 at the Observatory of Markree Castle in County Sligo ( Ireland), the ninth asteroid Metis.

Between 1848 and 1856 he discovered and his assistant from meridian observations around 60 066 stars along the ecliptic, of which only 8965 were were already determined. Your catalog has been published in four volumes. Graham was regarded as an exceptional observer, and calculated the orbits of comets 198 for one, in 1852, published book.
