Andrew Klavan

Andrew Klavan (born 1954 in New York City ) is an American author and screenwriter. Some of his books he published under the pseudonyms of Margaret Tracy and Keith Peterson.

Life

Andrew Klavan grew up with his three brothers, the son of New York radio host and columnist Gene Klaven in New York City on. He later studied economics at the University of California, Berkeley. At the same time he published with Face of the Earth his first novel and was working at a radio station. Then he moved to Putnam County, New York.

Klavan has been nominated four times for the Edgar Allan Poe Award and has won it twice.

Andrew Klavan has two children by his wife Ellen. He grew up in a Jewish family. After his Bar Mitzvah, he became an agnostic and later converted to Christianity.
