Andrey Khramov

Andrei Mikhailovich Khramov (Russian: Андрей Михайлович Храмов; born 17 January 1981 in Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a Russian orienteer, who since 2005 been six world titles won (as of 2012).

Career

Khramov won as a 18 -year-old surprise at the Junior World Championships 1999 in Varna, Bulgaria over the long distance. In 2001, he won the title in Miskolc, Hungary once more. In 2003 he started in Rapperswil for the first time at the World Championship of assets and finished third in the Sprint 16th place. A year later he joined with silver at the European Championships in Roskilde before the sprint to world leaders. With the Russian squadron, he also also won World Championship silver in the same year. In the final ranking of the overall World Cup in 2004 Khramov took second place. In 2005 he won the British Surrey Hills for the first time a World Cup race. At the World Championships in Aichi Khramov won the long distance his first world title. Since he could by 2010 at each World Championships a title win (2006, 2007 and 2010 with the squadron, 2008 and 2009 in the sprint ). The overall World Cup Khramov was also able to decide for themselves. At the 2009 World Games in Taiwan, he won gold in the sprint and with the Russian Mixed Relay consisting of Dmitry Tsvetkov, Julia Novikova, Galina Vinogradova and Khramov. The World Games 2013 in the Colombian Cali Khramov won silver in the sprint behind Matthias Kyburz, finishing in eighth place in the mixed relay and 16th place on the middle distance.

Andrei Khramov lives in Sodowij in Krasnodar. National he runs for the club SKVO Rostov na Don from Rostov -on-Don. Internationally, he is running for the Finnish club Hiisirasti. In 2004 he completed his studies of Transport Sciences. He is married and has with his wife, a son and a daughter. Khramov also starts in athletics competitions. His 5000 -meter best time is at 14:05 minutes.
