Andrey Shevchuk

Andrei Shevchuk (Russian: Андрей Шевчук, English transcription Andrey Shevchuk, . Born March 8, 1970) is a retired Russian javelin thrower.

In 1989 he was, antretend for the Soviet Union, third in the Athletics Junior Championships. At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, he was a representative of the United team of eight.

His personal best jump of 85.70 meters he set up in Bratislava on June 1, 1993.

In 1994 he won, now starting for Russia, at the Goodwill Games gold, but different at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki in qualifying.

Andrei Shevchuk is 1.87 meters tall and weighed 91 kg to his playing days.
