Andros Trophy

The Trophée Andros is a French Eisrennserie, which has been held since the 1990 into the new year away on specially prepared ice tracks. Except in France there is a championship round in Andorra, in addition to already occurred sporadically in Canada.

The racing series was ( French Rallycross Champion in 1982 and 1983 Talbot Matra Murena ) ( a compote and jam manufacturer), founded in 1990 by Max Mamers, a former Rallycross driver and his friend Frédéric Gervoson, the owner of the company Andros to life. My first run was extended on January 27, 1990 in Serre Chevalier, after Mamers and Gervoson had worked on the realization of their plans since 1985. Other venues were next to Serre Chevalier such well-known ski resorts such as Val Thorens, Alpe d' Huez, Isola 2000, Lans -en- Vercors, Saint- Dié -des-Vosges and Super Besse.

Participants drive silhouette vehicles with all-wheel drive, four wheel steering and tires with studs. There are also other classes for electric cars (since 2009/ 10) and for motorcycles (since 1997 /98). Moreover, there was from 2001 /02 up to and including 2009/10 in a class of buggies ( Sprint Cars ).
