Andy McCluskey

Andy McCluskey (born 24 June 1959, Heswall, Wirral as George Andrew McCluskey ) is a British musician and music producer.

Biography

Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark

Andy McCluskey is one of the founders, singer and bassist of the band founded in 1978, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark ( also under the abbreviations OMD or OMD known). The band broke up in 1989, McCluskey retained the naming rights and led the band from 1990 continued alone. Since 2007 he is touring again with OMD in the original cast with co-founder Paul Humphreys.

Atomic Kitten

McCluskey founded 1998, the girl group Atomic Kitten and was until 2002 for many of the songs the band worked as a songwriter and producer. Their first number one hit Whole Again was written by him and was in 2002 in the category International Hit of the Year nominated for the Ivor Novello Award.
