Ange Postecoglou

Angelos " Ange" Postecoglou ( born August 27, 1965 in Athens ) is an Australian football coach and former football player of Greek descent. He is currently coached the Australian national team.

Playing career

As a player Postecoglou occurred only in his native Australia in appearance, where he invariably for South Melbourne in the National Soccer League chasing after the ball. After all, he was appointed in 1986 to the national team of his country and came to four internationals.

Coaching career

His association remained faithful even at the beginning of the coaching career received. Between 1996 and 2000 he coached his regular club South Melbourne, 1998 and 1999 won the national championship and won the 1999 Champions Cup Oceania, now known as the OFC Champions League a term.
