Angkasa Pura

PT. Angkasa Pura ( Indonesian Air City ) is a state-owned enterprise of the Indonesian Ministry of Transport, which is responsible for the management of airports and air traffic control in Indonesia. PT. Angkasa Pura consists of two business units:

  • PT. Angkasa Pura I, with the airport capacity of 30,700,440 passengers and the head office in Jakarta
  • PT. Angkasa Pura II with airport capacity for 30.815 million passengers and the head office at Soekarno -Hatta International Airport in Tangerang

Both airport operators currently suffering from massive shortfall: While the number of passengers at Angkasa Pusa I, the number reached 49,237,437, Angkasa Pura II when it was already at 62,215,834 passengers.

History

PT. Angkasa Pura I was in 1964 under the name of Perusahaan Negara (PN) Angkasa Pura " Kemayoran " was founded. PT. Angkasa Pura II was not until twenty years later, on 13 August 1984, was established.
