Angoche Island

Angoche is a small continental island in the territory of the same city Angoche in Mozambique. The main source of income was in the shipping of slaves, which helped the noble layers of Nyapakho clan to wealth. The island was not conquered by the Portuguese until 1913, which is due to the brave resistance of the Sultan, particularly Ibrahim Yusuf.
