Angular artery

The angular artery ( " (Eye ) Angular artery ") is an artery of the head. It represents the terminal branch of the facial artery after leaving the upper lip artery

The angular artery pulls, embedded in the levator labii superioris, up to the inner corner of the eye. In its course it sends in the cheek branches, which anastomose with the lower ophthalmic artery. The angular artery supplies the located in the inner corner of eye structures such as the lacrimal sac, shares of the eyelids and the orbicularis oculi.
