Anita Lipnicka

Anita Lipnicka ( born June 13, 1975 in Piotrków ) is a Polish singer and songwriter.

Career stations

At the age of 15 years, Anita was a model, which she attended, among others, Japan and Siberia. As a vocalist, she debuted in a cabaret Krakow Group Rafał Kmity and realized there her singing talent. A short time later, she founded her first band Certificado and completed together with their first appearances. They also began to first own songs to write.

During an appearance in Łódź her band she met on the local band Varius Manx, who played at the time only instrumental pieces. Both sides were quickly done to each other, so that Anita Finally, in 1993 the lead singer in the group was that in the first joint album " Emu " fertilized and the band along with Anita led to national success. The album reached platinum status in the spring of 1994. In the same year, the group won the music festival of Sopot and " Emu " was created by the youth magazines "Bravo" (PL) and "Popcorn " ( PL) elected as album of the year. In 1994, Anita was also involved on the album " Abrasax " Polish, also successful group De Mono, where they can be heard with the song " Zaklęci w Tancu do konca świata ".

April 1995 released their next album "Eleven " that already on the release date reached gold status. A final Popularity Varius Manx learned and Anita Lipnicka, could be heard as songs of the group in the successful Polish film " Młode Wilki " as part of the soundtrack. While the band at the end of the year, numerous awards and honors received, including " Best Band of the Year", Anita decided to spite the beginning of 1996 to leave the band and pursue a solo career.

So she moved in 1996 initially for 10 months to London, where she learned English and also took dance lessons. In London's Livingstone Studio, she took her first solo album " Wszystko się może zdarzyć " on that could be sold almost 400,000 times.

In March 1997, Anita was five times nominated for the Polish Music Award " Fryderyk '96 ". Shortly after, she returned to London, where they recorded their second album "To co Naprawde " that appeared in June 1998 and the singles "Historia jednej miłości ", "O niczym " and " Gin z tonikiem " contained. In the same year they are also her acting debut in the Polish film " pułapka ", but with no appreciable success.

October 2000 brought Anita released her third solo album, " Moje oczy są zielone " that again originated in Poland and their composition is derived, among others, Edyta Bartosiewicz, Stefan Hell beach, Mark Waterfield and Robert Amirian, while the texts mostly originated from Anita herself.

With a native of Staffordshire in England John Porter ( born August 15, 1950), a but for many years living in Poland musician, with whom Anita finally received a still ongoing love affair, both worked again in London under painted with stringed instruments, joint album " Nieprzyzwoite piosenki " of which November 2003 was published.

September 2005 appears the second joint album of Lipnicka and Porter, " Inside Story " which contains the first English-language songs and different than usual in the studio Metro in Slovenia arose when Anita is already pregnant by John Porter. As a single from the album is "Hold On" brought out.

On February 23, 2006, the daughter of Anita Lipnicka and John Porter, Pola was born.

In February 2008, is the third and currently last joint album by Anita and John, "Goodbye " was published, which was resumed in Polish studios, includes the singles " Old Time Radio" and "Lonesome Traveler" and reached gold status.

In November 2008, Anita Lipnicka is on a solo album from producer Chris Eckman, "Last Side of the Mountain", with the song " Who Will Light Your Path? " to hear.

November 2009 published Anita in London again have her own solo album, "Hard Land of Wonder" that also contains as in their previous songs since 2005, exclusively English songs. Since then, Anita Lipnicka tried now increasingly as a music producer, for any purpose, inviting artists and bands from England to the studio to work out joint projects and to gain experience.
