Ann Blyth

Ann Blyth ( born August 16, 1928 in Mount Kisco ) is an American actress.

Career

Ann Blyth has performed as a singer at the age of five years. It developed as a teenager to a bright soprano and was given the opportunity to perform in Broadway shows. At 15, she moved to Hollywood and got roles in musicals. Already in 1945 she received her first Oscar nomination as selfish, psychotic daughter of Joan Crawford, as long as a heart beat. They played until the late 1950s in Hollywood films and then withdrew. 1953, the Catholic married eleven years her senior physician Dr. James McNulty, with whom she has five children. Ann Blyth played him to participate in regional theater, and appeared now and then in television roles on the screen. She still plays the theater, but was no longer in front of the camera since 1985. She now lives near San Diego.
