Ann Grete Nørgaard

Ann Grete Nørgaard ( born September 15, 1983 in Viborg, Denmark) is a Danish handball player.

Nørgaard began 1992 playing handball at Søndermarken IK and moved in 1996 to Viborg HK. In the season 2004/ 05, the winger was loaned to the then second division side Skive fH. After Nørgaard returned back to Viborg in the summer of 2005, she was loaned out to Skive again in November 2005. In the summer of 2006 she joined the Danish first division club Randers HK. At the beginning of the 2008/ 09 their contractual relationship was dissolved after disputes with Randers HK.

After Nørgaard found no new club due to the economic crisis, she joined the playing in the third division amateur team Viborg HK. After injury-related loss of Gitte Aaen she was taken in March of 2009 in the first division squad, with their team, they won the championship in 2009. In summer 2009, she signed a contract with Horsens HK. After a season in Horsens, she joined Team Tvis Holstebro. With Holstebro 2013 she won the EHF Cup.

Nørgaard played so far 90 caps for the Danish women's handball national team, in which they scored 383 hits. She won at the World Championships 2013 bronze medal and scored 24 goals in eight games. Furthermore, they participated with Denmark at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London.
