Anna Godbersen

Anna Godbersen ( born April 10, 1980 in Berkeley, California) is an American author.

She is the daughter of a taxi driver and a painter. After studying English literature at Barnard College Godbersen joined in 2003 to an assistant site in the literary editors of the men's magazine Esquire. Besides her work as a writer she works for the The New York Times Book Review as a freelance literary critic. Her work has been partially published under a pseudonym. She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
