Anna Rosbach

Anna Rosbach Andersen ( born February 2, 1947 in Gladsaxe ) is a Danish politician and since 2009 a member of the European Parliament. You heard as a non-party deputies of the European Conservatives and Reformists at (ECR).

Life

Rosbach Andersen worked as a choir director and voice teacher and joined the right-wing populist Danish People's Party (DF ) a. In 2000, she was an office manager for the European Parliament the Union for a Europe of Nations ( UEN), who belonged to the DF. She was also a staff member of the DF- MEP Mogens Camre.

After she had the first time a candidate in vain at the 2004 European election for the European Parliament, she was elected to the Regional Council of the Capital Region in 2005. In the European elections in Denmark 2009, she was behind the vote strong DF 's leading candidate Morten Messerschmidt secure second list position of the DF and moved into the European Parliament. Since the UEN disbanded after the election, the DF joined the new Eurosceptic Europe of Freedom and Democracy (EFD ) to. Rosbach was a member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety.

On 8 March 2011 Rosbach came surprisingly from from the DF, and left the EFD. She explained that she had been unhappy with the political line and the rhetoric of the party for some time. In the future they will follow together with their new European Conservatives and Reformists a moderately anti- federalist reform-oriented agenda.
