Annabella Sciorra

Annabella Sciorra ( born March 24, 1964 in Brooklyn, New York as Gloria Philomena Sciorra Annabella ) is an American actress.

Life and achievements

Sciorra comes from an Italian family and was born in Brooklyn, where she spent her childhood. There she took acting lessons.

For her starring role in the comedy True Love (1989 ) Sciorra was nominated in 1990 for the Independent Spirit Award. In the comedy Cadillac Man (1990 ) she appeared alongside Robin Williams and Tim Robbins, the film drama The Reversal of Fortune as she played alongside Glenn Close and Jeremy Irons. In the comedy Mr. Wonderful (1993 ) she starred opposite Matt Dillon one of the main roles. In the film drama Beyond the Horizon (1998) she played the role of Annie Collins -Nielsen, wife of Chris Nielsen, Robin Williams played. For her role in the television series The Sopranos, in which they occurred in the years 2001 to 2004, she was nominated in 2001 for an Emmy Award. In addition, in the fifth season, she was from 2005 to 2006 the television series Criminal Intent - see Criminal Intent as Det Carolyn Bareck. In 2007, she played the role of the dying Diana Moore in Emergency Room in two episodes - the emergency room.

Sciorra was married in 1989 to 1993 to actor Joe Petruzzi.
