Annals of Physics

The Annals of Physics is an American physics journal with peer review, which first appeared at Academic Press and Elsevier. The addition of New York in the commonly used abbreviation Ann.Phys. (NY ) is derived from the original publication by Academic Press. The Annals appear since 1957, then in three monthly issues. The original publisher and founder were Philip M. Morse, Bernard T. Field, Herman Feshbach, and Richard Wilson from MIT. At present, the Nobel Laureate in Physics Frank Wilczek Publisher. The impact factor of the journal is 2.857 (as of 2011).
